Despite growing up in the Rugby Union heartland of Otago, New Zealand, Rugby League has been my lifelong passion. I am a keen student of the 13-a-side game's history and a relentless follower of the code in its current state. I have channelled my love of Rugby League into writing about it since high school, including maintaining a blog since 2008 and researching and writing an historical book about the NRL for the past three years.
My other great passion is for music, and I will endeavour to have album, concert and festival reviews published in between my saturation coverage of Rugby League. I currently live in Brisbane, Australia - the Rugby League capital of the world and a vibrant music hub.
